Wow! The leaves are turning now. A group of us had a wonderful study session for our mid-term in World Religions and Global Conflict.
Here were Julie from Cameroon, Miri from Israel, Paul an Anglican minister born in India and living in New Zealand, Anastasia the daughter of a Lutheran minister and Ambassador for Peace from Moldova, and me.
We laughed and had fun until the wee hours and hopefully learned enough to get us through the next day's test.
At one point when we were hearing a joke that Moldovan Lutherans tell, the giddy laughter of these people from all over the world made such a scene that I couldn't help but wonder how to bottle what we had in that moment and send it everywhere. I was beautiful to behold.
